The goal is to close the huge disparity gap in birthing deaths among women of color.

Amy Cadenza began her professional career as a financial market analyst in Washington, D.C. The 2008 financial crisis inspired soul searching for Cadenza, who wanted to make a positive impact on the rest of the world. She eventually arrived in Sudan to teach the basic principles of business and microfinance to Sudanese women. This experience taught Cadenza that women are the foundation of any economy, and equality is essential for a country’s economic success.
