ABOUT THE EDITORS AND PUBLISHERS
Amy and Nancy Harrington are two Hollywood veterans who have worked in development, feature film, television, and theater production, as well as interviewing and marketing. Amy made history as the first woman in the film industry to hold the title of Vice President of Post Production and Visual Effects. Together, their credits include development for cable television networks; feature film work on Harry Potter, Practical Magic, and The Matrix series; television work for Viacom, MTV, and CBS; and theater production for ten years, including a two-year run in the theater district of Boston. Their marketing experience includes work for Miramax and Paramount Classics.
Amy and Nancy have conducted and produced interviews for their own projects as well as for clients such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and The Television Academy Foundation — one of the most highly regarded oral history archives in the world. Across all their outlets combined, they have produced and/or conducted more than 1,600 interviews, including with renowned figures such as Dr. Jane Goodall, Carol Burnett, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Mick Jagger. They are also the curators of the #1 international best-selling anthology book Awakening Your Power and the guided journals Power of Passionistas: Creating Your Own Success Story and Power of Passionistas: Planning Your Path to Purpose.
